30th September 2019
As part of our History Topic this term, we are taking the Year 6 children to visit Eden Camp, an award winning history theme museum on Tuesday 12th November. Such an educational visit will enhance the children’s understanding of the history of the Second World War, especially life on the home front, as well as being enjoyable and stimulating.
In order to carry out such visits, we require your support and the cost of the visit will be £12.50, which will cover transport and admission costs.
We intend to depart Lakeside at 9.00 and return at approximately 3.20pm, so the children will be able to go home as normal. A packed lunch with a non-fizzy drink in an unbreakable container will be required. We will be eating in the Mess Hall! Please remember NO NUTS in your child’s pack up.
The children are requested to wear the clothes they would normally wear for school. Despite most of the exhibits being indoors the children are required to go from hut to hut so they must wear warm coats and sensible shoes.
By paying the amount on parentpay it does give your child consent to attend the trip.
