Dear Parents / Carers

Monday 16th December– making Christingles. (please send in a medium sized orange)

Wednesday 18th December– Minster FM Panto-pm Special visitor!

Thursday 19th December -Christingle service with Reverend Millard- am

Friday 2oth December— Break up for Christmas holiday

Monday 6th January– Return to school

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Next week we will be learning about and making a Christingle.

Reverend Millard will be joining us for a special Christingle service.

The orange stands for the world.

The red ribbon represents Jesus’ blood, when he died on the cross.

The candle reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world.

The four sticks represent the four seasons of the year.

The sweets and raisins remind us of God’s goodness in feeding us throughout the year.

Have a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in 2019.

From the Early Years and Key Stage 1 Team
