We are excited to be able to share with you three new FREE courses that are available for you to enroll onto.
Firstly, The Positive Futures course is a 10 week evidence-based parenting programme for parents/carers of children and young people up to the age of 18. The sessions are two hours per week, either in a morning or early evening and the programme consists of ten sessions. Click here to find out more.
The courses will equip parents and carers with the practical skills and social support networks to help them support their children/young people’s social, emotional and educational development.
Secondly, Family Matters York are holding a FREE 6-week course at Clifton Children’s Centre looking at how parents can reduce the risk of harmful drug use and help children make good choices. The course is funded by Hope UK. Click here to find out more.
Finally, FREE first aid courses that give an insight into important First Aid skills, which are invaluable when accidents happen around the home – and when you’re out and about. You will learn First Aid procedures relevant to the care of young children. A mixture of theory and practical elements will be included in your course. Click here to find out more.
