Wrap Around Care

CMOOSC

Wraparound care is provided by CMOOSC. We are a non-profit making charity run by a voluntary committee, and are based at Lakeside Primary Academy. For those families that wish to access extended care facilities, we offer a breakfast club and after-school club for all children aged 3 to 12 years old.

Breakfast Club

  • Monday to Friday – 7:30 am until 8:50 am

Our Breakfast Club includes activities and a nutritional start to the day, with cereals, toast and fruit offered.

A registration form must be completed prior to use and the charge for a session is £5.25 per session.

After School Club

Our After School Sessions are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday – 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm

A registration form must be completed prior to use and the charge for a session is £10.25 per session. Places need to be booked in advance.

Activities and Provisions

We provide a large range of activities including arts and crafts, construction, baking and messy play. We have use of the school hall, club room and atriums, also free flow access to our outside courtyard and further access to the school field and back playground.

All sessions include full use of all play equipment, games and arts and crafts. We also provide a snack.

How can I pay?

You will be invoiced monthly in advance for all pre-booked sessions. Invoices must be paid within 1 week of receipt via BACS. We also accept adhoc bookings for those who work shifts or only need wraparound care occasionally. We accept Childcare Vouchers and the 30 hours entitlement for 3-year-olds.

Contact Details and Bookings

For more information and a registration pack please contact Gail Potter (club manager) on 07815 637339, or call into the club at the end of the school day.

No bookings can be made via the school. All children must be registered with the club prior to use.

Childminders

The school is really lucky to have a strong network of childminders who work closely with the school. The childminders work from their own home and offer flexible childcare. They collect from Clifton Moor Pre-School and Lakeside Primary Academy. Childcare vouchers can be used to pay for care. As part of their daily routine, healthy cooked meals are provided in a home setting. The childminders regularly review their provision and a range of activities and outings are available. School holiday cover is offered, with day trips included. Finally, funded hours are available for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

For more information please contact your local childminders – details on the poster below.
