Welcome back everyone! It’s been a fabulous week for our Experience Week, the focus of which has been on Outdoor Learning. The weather has been very kind to us and the children have thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors at every opportunity. As part of the learning this week the children have been exploring our school grounds and looking at ideas as to how to develop areas further.
As ever we have grand plans!
One plan is looking at how we can develop the area by the bike shed at the front of school into a wildlife area. Classes have looked at initial architect drawings and compared them to the area as it is now. Year 6 are looking to persuade local businesses to help us in this venture as they are writing persuasive letters as part of their English learning. Hopefully we will have a lot of support, fingers crossed.
As we are able to welcome parents and volunteers back into school more fully there will be lots of opportunities for you to get involved too. If you have a particular talent then please get in touch. Here are a few photos that have been shared on Twitter this week.
