Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

In preparation for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we have taken part in an Ebor Trust bunting design competition  The children were challenged to be original, with anything connected to royalty and/or Great Britain whatever they thought best sums up national pride at this historic moment in time! From each class a winner was selected and the top three were sent off to Ebor.

The top three winning designs from across the Trust have been made into bunting for each school’s celebrations. It is great to be part of a larger family working together and we can’t wait to receive our bunting.

We were really proud of Dom in Team Maple who was awarded a runners up prize.

Remember on Friday 27^th May we will have a Jubilee celebration with the children wearing their own clothes in the theme of red, white and blue. Weather permitting we will have the whole school sharing lunch together as a huge tea party.
